YANGON, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported 845,376 tons of rice and broken rice in the first four months of the 2025-26 fiscal year, according to the Myanmar Rice Federation on Friday.
The Southeast Asian country earned 290 million U.S. dollars from the exports during the four months, from April to July this year, the federation's data showed.
During the period, the country exported rice and broken rice via both sea and land routes to more than 30 countries, it said.
In the 2024-25 fiscal year, Myanmar exported over 2.4 million tons of rice and broken rice, generating more than 1.1 billion dollars in revenue. ■
